Peer Recognized Academy for GreeNexUS doctoral candidates
We are pleased to announce that GreeNexUS doctoral candidates will enhance their research career skills by participating in specialized courses offered by the Peer Recognized Academy. These courses, focusing on research data visualization and research paper writing, are led by Dr. Martins Zaumanis, a materials scientist at Empa in Switzerland and author of the Peer Recognized book series.
The Research Data Visualization Crash Course introduces an eight-step approach to creating effective data visualizations. Participants will learn to select appropriate chart types, demonstrate data variability, and highlight key messages, thereby improving the clarity and impact of their research findings.
Complementing this, the Research Paper Writing Course guides researchers through the LEAP (Lay out the facts, Explain the results, Advertise the research, Prepare for submission) approach. This structured method assists in organizing thoughts, presenting findings clearly, and navigating the publication process successfully.
The students will also benefit from the free resources offered in the Peer Recognized website, including a template for writing research papers, AI-powered tools for editing academic writing, and examples of research proposals across various scientific fields. These tools support our doctoral candidates in producing high-quality research that can make in impact in the real world.
This collaboration with Peer Recognized Academy reflects GreeNexUS’s dedication to providing our researchers with the necessary skills and resources to excel in their fields, particularly in promoting greener, healthier, and more accessible urban environments.
